This statue of Abraham Lincoln greets visitors to the campus of Gettysburg College. I imagine it depicts him working on a draft of the remarks he would deliver at the dedication of the National Cemetery on November 19,1863.
I do a lot of walking and exploring trails in Central Pennsylvania. My photos feature scenes from the Appalachian Trail, the Northern Central Rail Trail, state and county parks throughout the area. My goal is to capture the essence of the natural beauty and serenity of our surroundings. You will also find photos from Gettysburg,Pa and the battlefield. .
